The History
US Army Cpl Donald Jay Burmingham was listed as Missing in Action on September 12, 1950. It was at the battle near the Choson Resovoir. On January 1, 1953 the family was notified that the Army had declared Cpl. Burmingham as being deceased. He was 22 years old.
The Family
Cpl Burmingham was from Redfield, NY and grew up in Camden, NY. He was the son of Henry and Dorothy Thelma (Ballou) Burmingham. He had two brothers, Larry and Johnny and three sisters, Doris Burmingham Barber, Shirley Burmingham Treadway and Mary Jane Burmingham Hunt.
