US Army CPL George Sidelko was from New Hartford, NY. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sidelko. He had two brothers, Edward and Theodore and two sisters, Marylou Kernan and Roberta Sidelko.

CPL Geore Sidelko graduated from New Hartford High School where he was the Captain of the Football Team in 1967. Before entering the Army, George was employed by Mohawk Container Company.
