US Army Pfc Bronislaw Michael Juras



The History

PFC Bronislaw Michael Juras was killed in action in Korea on May 19, 1951.  He was 19 years old.



The Family

PFC Juras lived in Utica, NY.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs.John Edwards.  He had one half brother, Edwin Wilk.

PFC Juras attended St. Patrick’s School and the Boys Trade School in Utica.   He was employed by Fink Brothers Knit Goods before enlisting in the Army at the outbreak of the Korean War.



And More

PFC Juras served with the 38th Infantry Regiment, F CO 2 BN, 2nd Infantry Division of the United States Army.  His parents were notified that he was missing in action in May of 1951, later confirmed that he had been killed.
