The History
US Army Reserve Captain John Phelen Roe was killed in Kien Tuong, South Vietnam by hostile action resulting in his helicopter crashing on July 24, 1969. He was 27 years old.
The Family
Captain John Phelen Roe was from Clinton, NY. Hi is survived by his wife Linda. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Roe. He had two brothers, Leon II and William and one sister, Susan.
