The History

USMC Lcpl Gerald P. Metott was killed in Vietnam when a land mine exploded on November 6, 1965.  He was 18 years old.



The Family

USMC Lcpl Gerald P. Metott was from Camden, NY.  He later moved to Springwater, NY with his mother.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Metott.  He had four brothers, James, Charles, Joseph and Rufus.
