
USMC Pfc William Arthur Bouquin
The History
PFC William Arthur Bouquin was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was killed in action while fighting the enemy in Korea on November 28, 1950. He was 21 years old.

PFC Bouquin was from Utica, NY. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bouquin. He had one sister, Mrs. Mary Jean Pinella.

PFC Bouquin was a track star for Utica Free Academy and New Hartford High School. He held the city’s championship record for the 880 yard run and was a member of New Hartford High School’s champion cross country team in 1947.
