The History
USMC Sgt. Joseph Edward Miller was wounded in February. 1951 in Korea. Returning to combat, he was killed in action on April 24, 1951. He was 28 years old.
The Family
Sgt. Joseph Miller was from Oriskany, NY. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miller. He had five brothers, Douglas, Donald, Robert, Roger and Ronald and three sisters, Carol, Kathleen and Joan. He was married and the father of two small children. His wife was Geraldine Seufert Miller. His son, Eric, was 5 years old when his dad died and his daughter Janice was 17 months old.
